During cocktail hour with an open bar, guests were entertained by a mariachi band and folklorico dancers (a Vasquez family tradition) as the Bride, Groom, Bridal Party, and Parents took pictures. At 7:00pm, guests were seated, followed by the introductions of the grandparents, parents, bridal party, and the bride and groom. After dinner, the traditional dollar dance was held which seagued into the first dance, father/daughter dance, and mother/son dance. The hora followed, which is a traditional Jewish wedding custom and dance. The song Hava Nagila (translation: "Let's rejoice") plays during the dance. The hora is meant to encourage wedding guests to the dance floor. By 10:45pm, the bride and groom are sent off with sparklers, guests were encouraged to stay until 11:30, however music was turned down due to noise restrictions.
